Wilderness Connection
This ongoing weekly group captures the essence of what Trackline Field Studies is all about.
After completing the 4-week Fundamental Wilderness Skills course, we welcome your participation in this diverse group of individuals, where we teach the skills of awareness, connection, and engagement with the natural environment.
The Wilderness Connection group will help you learn how to exist in a place you love, naturally and harmoniously, without the struggle and alien experience of “survival.” Depending on the season and the dynamic of the group, we may be teaching skills of edible/medicinal plants, bird language, tracking, bushcraft, primitive skills, mapping, land navigation, stalking, awareness, sensory development, caretaking, observation, and much more.
These skills open the doorway into an environment where you’ll learn as much about yourself as you will about nature. Learning and studying these skills in a group environment provides camaraderie, challenge, perspective, and insight which will accelerate your learning.
Through our progressive training, you’ll reawaken your innate awareness and capacity to exist with nothing more than what the Earth provides. Come learn more than how to survive; learn how to reunite with the place that has forever been our home.
Group Details: Wilderness Connection
This is where things get fun, covering a wide array of training, from tracking and primitive skills, to land navigation, dealing with harsh environments, and developing the skills of wilderness connection and engagement.
This ongoing group is open to anyone who has completed the Fundamental Wilderness Skills course.
Date & Time
- This group is held weekly, 1.5 hours per session
- Private location 25 minutes from downtown Grand Junction
- Sessions are held every Sunday (times vary seasonally)
Group Rate
- $90 per session; 50% discount for additional friends and family
